LEFTOVER FROSTING 

       

            EASTER COOKIES


  • 1/2 cup Real Layers Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
  • 1/2 cup Real Layers Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup almond flour (or very finely ground almonds)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Easter candy coated chocolate eggs (for garnish)
  • Real Layers Maple Buttercream Frosting (for garnish)





   

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

2. In a mixing bowl add vanilla frosting, chocolate frosting, flour, almond flour, egg and        baking soda, mix all ingredients together well.

3. Divide dough into approx. 15 dough balls and flatten each one on a baking sheet.

4. Bake for 10 minutes then remove from oven.

5. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes before transferring to serving tray.

6. Once completely cooled, dollop a small amount of Maple Frosting on each cookie and     decorate with the Easter eggs.
